A few weeks ago we were drenched with yet more summer downpours, unheard of in past years but a phenomenon that seems to be on the rise. As the rain lightened the sun gleamed across the valley which formed the most complete rainbow I have ever seen. As we stood on a hill in the valley the rainbow seemed to touch down on both sides of the valley floor. The ends beginning to curve inwards as if they were going to form a full circle. It was magnificent, a real gift from the skies. Sadly the camera lens wasn’t wide enough to capture this…but you can at least imagine seeing the rainbow touch down at each edge of the photo.
